MEP adopts the Measures on Accelerating the Policy Reform and Innovation of Environmental Taxes and Fees
On March 20, Ministry of Environmental Protection adopted the Measures on Accelerating the Policy Reform and Innovation of Environmental Taxes and Fees at its executive meeting chaired by Minister Zhou Shengxian. The Measures include actively implementing the preferential policies for environmental income taxes, improving the export tax rebate for products causing heavy pollution and with high environmental risks, working out policies for raising the taxes and fees related to rare
resources, offering favourable business tax for environmental service industries, and going on with the development of an independent environment tax, etc..
